A strong bluff can even win the pot when you don’t have a high hand. To bluff effectively, you need to be aware of the other players’ tendencies and read the table. You should also be keenly aware of the type of player you are dealing with, since some players will only bet when they have a big hand and will not raise when they have a small one.
